Statistically, individuals with disabilities have a significantly lower rate of participation in extracurricular activities than individuals without disabilities. They are at a higher risk of facing isolation, poor self-esteem and self-concept throughout their lives. With the support of our donors and the community at large, the Cerebral Palsy Association in Alberta (CPAA) works towards our vision of being a leader in providing programs and services to children and adults with cerebral palsy and other disabilities, and help everyone live a Life Without Limits.

Our vital programs and services are faced with the ever-increasing costs of supplies, facilities and man-power. To avoid charging our clients higher program fees, we need your help!

This is where our Spirit of Giving campaign comes in! The holiday season is a special time of year when families and communities come together and this year we are asking you to join the disabilities community in raising funds and awareness for the CPAA’s vital programs and services.

These funds will ensure that we can continue to offer our vital programs and services to those that need it most. These participants will benefit physically, mentally, and socially through our programs and become better adjusted individuals who are able to reach their full potential.

We have set a goal of $10,000, to ensure we can keep our programs and services running and continue to provide our clients with the adaptive equipment and other aids they may need. We ask that you give what you can, as well as share this campaign page with your friends, family and through social media.

If you are unable to make a monetary donation, you can also donate clothing and household items to the CPAA, which in turn will become funds for our vital programs and services. Please visit donatetocpalberta.com to learn more.
